  • Your Easter Challenge!

Tue 31 Mar 2020 Mrs Anderson

It goes without saying that we can't have our normal Easter Bonnet Parades and Egg Decorating Competition, but the thought of this made me so sad that I've decided that we're going to use the wonder of technology to have them anyway!!

    Ducks and classes D, I and N:

I challenge you to make your Easter bonnets! If you do want to join in, make them and then send me a photo of you modelling your bonnet, as an attachment to an email to info@dingle.dudley.sch.uk and I'll post it on the website so we can have a virtual parade!

    Classes G, L, E and S:

I challenge you to egg decorating! If you do want to join in, decorate your eggs and then send a photo as an email attachment to info@dingle.dudley.sch.uk and I will post the photos to the website, so that we have a virtual display rather than a display in the Community Room.

Just like we did last year, we will even judge the bonnets and eggs and will make sure winners get prizes and announce the winners online!

Any bonnet or egg decorating photos need to be emailed over by Wednesday 8th April and will be posted by the Easter weekend!

Good luck and enjoy crafting! You may need to get creative with your recycling and other things you can find in your house and garden, but I really wanted to keep the traditions of our bonnet parade and egg decorating competition alive!

  • If you've made rainbows...

Tue 24 Mar 2020 Mrs Anderson

... I'd love to see them and share them with the rest of our school community!

Ask a grown up to take a photo of your rainbow and send it to me at info@dingle.dudley.sch.uk and I'll put as many as I can on the school website for the world to see!

Missing you all dearly, Team Dingle! I hope that you're all staying safe and being good.

    Love Mrs Anderson

  • A message for the wonderful children of Dingle

Mon 23 Mar 2020 Mrs Anderson

    Boys and girls,

I can't tell you how much we all miss you and can't wait for normality to resume.

In the meantime I would really like you all to make a picture of a rainbow. Paint, collage, whatever you like. Go wild! Stick it in a window at the front of your house.

The rainbow is often used as a sign of hope and is what often comes after a storm. We will all get to the end of this tricky period of our lives and to the end of the storm we are faced with.

So when you're out and about, look for the rainbows and give your Dingle friends a wave. And if you're staying at home, look at your rainbow and remember it won't be long before this is all over.
