At Dingle Community Primary School, we are committed to delivering an ambitious and aspirational curriculum that nurtures every child's potential and prepares them to become responsible citizens equipped with the skills and knowledge for the 21st century. Our curriculum is designed to ignite curiosity and inspire awe and wonder, fostering a lifelong love of learning. We are dedicated to developing independent learners who are confident in their abilities and motivated to take ownership of their learning journey. ​

We focus on creating a language-rich environment where oracy and vocabulary are key through immersive language experiences, structured talk and explicit vocabulary instruction. We provide opportunities for our children to communicate effectively, reason thoughtfully and engage confidently in dialogue. ​

Through a carefully chosen collection of inspirational stories and books (our literacy spine), we encourage a love of reading and help children think deeply and understand the world around them. To broaden our children's cultural and life experiences, we integrate a wide range of stories and texts from various cultures and backgrounds. This approach not only enriches their understanding of the world but also fosters empathy and respect for others.​

Our curriculum celebrates diversity and reflects our local heritage. By exploring significant people and events that impact on national life, students gain a broader perspective of the world, their place within it and their role as responsible citizens. ​
