Our Pupil Leaders

A pupil leadership role at Dingle Community Primary School is an excellent learning experience and a fantastic opportunity for children to excel, take responsibility and gain knowledge and skills that will benefit them immensely. Our team of ambassadors work closely with our Head Pupils and House Captains, the teachers and the Governors to make our school an even greater place to be!

Our School Ambassadors play an important role – they provide a meaningful way for pupils to voice their thoughts and opinions about our school. It means they can have their views listened to and be involved in important decisions which impact upon them. This in turn builds their character.

Pupil Leaders have an important role to play in the daily life of Dingle.  The children undergo a strict application process! They complete a letter of application, give a speech to their peers and participate in a democratic vote. Pupils are made aware of the responsibility that accompanies this role and the high standards of behaviour that all Ambassadors must adhere to and promote across the school.

Through providing our pupils with various 'Roles and Responsibilities' across school, we develop our pupils to be responsible, respectful, and active citizens who are able to play their part and become actively involved in public life as adults.
