Welcome to Dingle Community Primary School!

I feel incredibly proud to be the acting headteacher at Dingle Community Primary. Dingle is a special place, and it is a great privilege to have the opportunity to lead such an amazing team of staff and pupils.

Having been at the school for two years as Deputy Headteacher, I am passionate about the ethos of inclusivity that runs throughout the school. My philosophy is that children learn best when they feel safe and happy, and I am immensely proud of the nurturing environment that we have created for our children. We encourage our children to have high expectations of themselves and others, based on respect, equality and inclusivity. At Dingle, everyone matters, and everyone has a voice.

Relationships lie at the heart of everything we do. We believe in a strong and positive relationship between home and school based on mutual respect. Dingle is a school committed to providing a caring and supportive learning environment, celebrating our pupils as individuals and not just as learners. We endeavor to support our children to be confident and curious and develop a love for lifelong learning, allowing them to thrive and reach their true potential. Our committed staff aim to bring the curriculum alive for the children and our curriculum enrichment offer provides exciting opportunities to enhance the children’s learning.

We want our pupils to be ready and prepared for the next stage in their education and to contribute as responsible citizens to the wider community. Dingle is what is says on the tin, a community where everyone can belong.
